Chapters 1-10 are posted for your enjoyment here. I have since put this aside to work on the graphic novel version. These chapters are really just teasers.

Let me start by telling you a little about myself. My fascination with the Egyptian culture started when I first learned about it in elementary school. Since then I have amassed a vast collection of web links and a wealth of knowledge both mainstream and controversial, which I will post as time allows. This wiki is a temporary home until I can afford a nice website.

My hobbies and past times include: reading, writing, movies, watching the Discovery (go Mythbusters!) and History channels, motorcycle riding, and sport fishing in the Atlantic Ocean. I have been married for ten years and have a wonderful seven-year old. I find inspiration in the oddest of places like the grocery stores, on walks, and the beach.

I enjoy books by Graham Hancock, Robert Bauval, Edgar Cayce, and other popular theorists. My favorite fiction writer is Anne Rice who through her wonderful novels has inspired me to become a writer.

My all time favorite Pharaoh is Khemenkhufu (Khufu) or Cheops as he was called by the Greeks. He was the 'supposed' builder of the Great Pyramid and there is very little known about him historically. I say 'supposed' because there are many controversies surrounding the Giza Plateau and who actually built the Pyramids and Sphinx. Time lines stretch from 2,500 B.C. to 10,500 B.C. This is a vast span of time and personally, I tend to agree with those theorist who have dated the Sphinx at 10,500 B.C. because there is much that modern Egyptologists have overlooked in their search for the truth about the Plateau.

Popular theories include the following:
1. The Sphinx was built by a superior race from Atlantis who escaped before the Great Flood and brought their knowledge to Egypt to preserve it for all eternity. Where one day it will be found and it will reveal to the world the truth about the age of humans.
2. The Great Pyramid was used not as a burial site for the Pharaoh Khufu but as a place of sacred initiation.
3. The Great Pyramid was actually an ancient power plant that provided electricity to ancient Egypt.
4. The Sphinx's alignment to the constellation Leo states that on the annual rising of the star Sirius, the Sphinx was perfectly aligned with it's celestial counterpart in the year 10,500 B.C.
There are so many other theories behind the Giza Plateau that it would take up too many pages to list them all, so I will stop with my favorite and most popular four.

You can add content to your heart's content without registering. I've posted the first 5 chapters of "Ra's Warrior" for your reading pleasure.

I'd like to invite all writers to sign up and contribute their own stories, chat, and discuss anything Egyptian. By posting your own work you agree completely with wetpaint.com's policy on work that is copyright protected. I.E. If you don't own the copyright or it isn't public domain, don't post it.
